A few highlights from the Sheffield Design Awards
Nicola Rutt was Head Judge at this years Sheffield Design Awards, working alongside a panel of excellent judges including Kate Dore, Simon Chadwick and Kudzai Matsvai all expertly organised by the Sheffield Design Awards committee. Here are some highlights:
Sort Trae in Thurgoland by architect/ owner Susi Clark with HEM architects.
Eyewitness Works by Capital and Centric is the refurbishment of a former cutlery works.
The huge mural is by Sheffield based artist, Phlegm.
The 'Grey to Green' planting and landscape scheme through Sheffield City Centre incorporates planting and SUDS.

The view of the Peace Gardens from the wonderful restaurant terrace of the new Radisson Blu hotel opposite.
The awards were presented in a formal ceremony in October, the next SDAs will be held in 2026.
